• BOOKS ARE OPEN FOR 2023 •
Books are run on a first in first served basis so the quicker you are at responding the more likely you are to get booked in. If you do not make into our books before they close please be patient, we are are making a waiting list for 2024. Also Randy will post on Instagram/Social Media if we have any cancellations, so keep your eyes peeled!
• CONSULTATIONS •
Consultations in person generally aren't necessary anymore for most projects, unless we are working around odd spaces between other tattoos or if there’s a scar. If that is the case, we will contact you and set up a Facetime/Zoom call, or if you are local we will set up a time for you to come in and talk to Randy.
• DEPOSITS •
All bookings require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure them.
***WE ONLY TAKE VENMO FOR DEPOSITS***
The deposit amount is different for session types.
FULL DAY: $500 deposit
HALF DAY: $250 deposit
TRAVEL / CONVENTION: $800 deposit
We always hold the deposit until your last session, and will come off the total price of that day's session. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, they are transferable if you need to reschedule, please remember this when booking an appointment.
• CANCELLATIONS •
There is a 72 hour cancellation period. Any cancellations within that 72 hours prior to the appointment, the deposit will be withheld and you will need to pay ANOTHER deposit to re-book another appointment.
Please note that 72 hours is the bare minimum amount of time to cancel. Advanced notice is much appreciated as it is much easier for us to schedule someone else in that time slot.
• RATES •
For 2023 and onward Randy will be booking by different flat rates.
There are certain exceptions when tattoos CAN’T BE FINISHED. If the tattoo is not completed in the full day (i.e. larger work) and would not require another full 6 hours to finish Randy will charge $300/hour to complete the project.
Also, some pieces (smaller projects like hand / feet tattoos) may also not take the full day and in this circumstance he may cut some of the price from the day rate and give you a flat rate...
***This is a case by case scenario***
In general be prepared to pay the full day rate. If for some reason you are personally unable to sit for the full 6 hours, you will still be obligated to pay for the full day rate.
Randy’s rates are increased to $3000 (Flat Day Rate) at conventions due to travel costs. If you are booking with him at a convention please specify which city in your form.
• CREATIVE FREEDOM •
We ask that clients give Randy creative freedom with their ideas, (I.E. Moth on my right forearm with berries) So he can create our most fond and enjoyed pieces without limitations and restrictions. We understand there are some things that you may really love to include or leave out, and these are always taken into consideration when choosing pieces we take on so if you would like a tattoo from us please include these specifics in your initial inquiry (I.E. I do not prefer XXX and I would like XXX) - that’s totally ok! This allows us to expand more and become more creative with each piece so they remain unique to their wearer.
Please send Randy inspiration photos and a clear straight on picture of the area to be tattooed.
Randy’s focus is strictly “Neo-Traditional” imagery. He enjoys mostly anything in that category’s subject matter. He prefers working in color but also does black and grey tattoos when they arise.
*NO COVERUPS*
Randy will place the design elements how they fit best with the contour and body, this is something he won’t compromise on as the layout of the tattoo is vital to the end result looking like the work you expect. He puts his all into each design which is time consuming to create so please know that everything about your finished design is intentional.
• DESIGNS •
It is not unusual for you to not see a design until the day of your appointment. Please be very clear with your design requests to prevent us wasting precious time with re-designs. If you are not so comfortable with this method another artist may be better suited to you.
• LARGE SCALE WORK •
We like to start and finish these larger pieces within 6 months as our style and way of working steadily evolves.
• COVER UPS / ADD ONS •
We will typically only tattoo cover ups with previous laser lightening. This gives us more scope on creating a beautiful piece you actually want rather than being limited. We do not finish off any other tattooers work.
SUPPORT CREW •
Please do not bring more than one person for company as this is a private studio and we enjoy being able to focus on your permanent art. It is important all the artists and clients are comfortable with enough space to work.
We will do our best to respond to everyone, but please be patient with us. It may take us a while to sort through requests. Please note that we can't take on every project, so we will be choosing what we feel is best suited for us. We book and respond in the order in which the requests come in.
